According to the AARP, nearly 90% of adults over 65 want to remain in their homes
as they age, yet few have taken the steps to do so.
VERSA OT for Seniors provides Occupational Therapy
services to older adults in their own home environments with the mission of promoting independence and preventing falls through personalized home safety assessments, aging in place consultation, and enhanced engagement in meaningful everyday life activities (occupations).
The CDC has found that falls are the leading cause of injury for adults ages 65 and older, with most falls occurring in and around the home.
